El viaje original era para España.  Pero el Paganini y la Reina consorte (la duquesa Pimentel) dijeron que no querían frío….no se hable más de ese tema.  Después de eso, el viaje era para Grammado, Brasil,  Iguazú y Año Nuevo en Río de Janeiro, pero mi querida Hermana dejó expirer sus pasaportes panameños y tenían que sacar visa a Brasil y no hay consulado en Puerto Rico y todo un enredo ….tercer plan fue Peru y Cuzco, pero con 11 personas…solo que uno se enfermara con la altura y adios y se arrunió el paseo……

It was October 7th and  we did not have a final location of where to go for Xmas, for the 11 of us…..We were supposed to go to Spain, but too cold, then Gramado Brazil for Christmas, then Iguazu, and finally Rio de Janeiro for New Year´s….I had everything pretty much planned, except paid for the hotels….. but my sister let her kids Panamanian passports expired and US citizens require visas and there is no consulate nearby for them….Then the other option became  Cuzco Peru for xmas but were afraid someone got sick at 12,000 feet….

Still, Chiapas?   Pero aún así, ¿como llegamos a Chiapas?  

Era mediados de Octubre y le pregunto a una amiga de México,:  ¿qué vas hacer para Navidad?  Y me dice que estaba en el mismo  y su familia había decidido en Chiapas y me pasó los datos.   Hice un poco de investigación y no me pareció mala idea y con la aprobación del Paganini y la Duquesa….terminé los detalles el 14 de noviembre!!!!!!!

It was mid october, and no decision on the trip, and a friend of mine from mexico told me her family was going to Chiapas.  She passed me the information, did some research and Chiapas…here we go.  I finished the planning on November 14th!!!  The tickets purchased on November 30th!
